One thing that I really like about Linux (elementaryOS) is how snappy it is. Windows 11 always takes time to ponder the meaning of life before anything happens.

Refactored my Playdate mod player library last night to allow a custom cache location. I also wrote a little lua script to resample the instruments on a PC. Together these changes allow loading a mod using prerendered 41.4 kHz samples without the need to do heavy calculations on the device.

I'll update the lib and documentation later after I've verified that everything works on both Windows and Linux.

I throw up a little in my mouth whenever someone asks for a good "expert" on "Chinese medicine". In China only actual doctors or pharmacists are allowed to practice traditional medicine, for a very good reason. People buy into dangerous bullshit.

Installed Linux again - this time I'm trying out Elementary OS. While it's by far the cleanest and simplest distro I've ever seen, it still took the whole night to setup my gamedev tools. There's always something weird no matter what you try to install.
