#enshittification ASB Bank offer travel insurance if you buy your flight with some of their credit cards. Used this in the past when their insurer was Cigna. It is now with AIG. Now, what had previously been a $24 cost for a pre-existing condition is over $490. Also, the cover for the rental car excess does not include third party damage, which was not the case in the Cigna cover, or other travel insurance policies I have looked at. Makes it useless and I wonder how many people get caught out on this, since many times you would claim, a third party would be involved.

Any suggestions on good travel insurance that is sane?
