@kagihq@mastodon.social I just came across the website kagimail.com which is kagi branded. Does this domain belong to you or is it a scam / phishing attempt?

lmao had an Internet connectivity issue in an isolated network I have for IoT devices and the problem was indeed DNS but not in the way one would expect. But it was DNS, god damn it.
I just heard about the news of the USA kidnapping the president of Venezuela and his wife. Apparently flown out of the country.
Imagine it was Russia doing this. The world would be losing his shit.
All I can think of is the movie Team America: World Police.
What a fucking joke.
While sharing my screen one of my colleagues asked me what search engine I was using.
None of them were impressed when I told them it was Kagi, a paid search engine where I am not the product and my data is not sold to the best bidder, etc.
They said they were just too invested in Google.
Sadness.
Many year ago a colleague at Google gave me a Chromebook he had collecting dust.
I used it as my DNS + Home automation server, great because of the built-in screen + UPS, but 2 weeks ago it just died.
P1 at home. I had to repair all zigbee devices and redeploy AdGuard with all settings.
Obviously I had zero backups and I paid the high price 😭
But now everything runs in Proxmox and all backups go to PBS
What started as a fun project many years ago converting my gaming rig into a media server, I am now at 3 nodes in my #homelab serving what has become crucial applications in my journey to regain data sovereignty and Degooglification of my life.
I can access them via VPN + normal authentication (for those services that support it) but I'm getting to the point where family members will depend on these as well and I VPN is not an option but Cloudflare tunnel is. The fear of getting hacked is real
I was just at a library and stumbled upon the teenage section where there were a bunch of really cool, illustrated books with all sorts of cool stories.
If reading was this fun growing up, I probably would have picked it up way sooner.
In Colombia we start with really heavy, hard to process stuff like La María, Don Quijote and other "classic novels" that are for sure important to know but are by no means meant to encourage young people to learn how to enjoy reading
Feeling grateful that I can follow people on Twitter directly on Mastodon thanks to the services of bird.makeup and similar sites
A few days working on an ubuntu machine, kneeled to a subpar experience with docker-compose only to find out just now that docker compose is now a built in plugin and it's written in go.
This is why I love Arch over all things ;(
With the flying season just around the corner, it's now time to look up again and start studying the clouds to understand better the air around me.
I wonder if there are other hang glider and paraglider pilots on Mastodon.
Exciting announcement of Metroid Prime 4 for the Switch. Pity that it's a platform exclusive, though.
With all the power that other platforms (pc, xbox, pa) can yield these days, I can only imagine how much more visually astonishing this game could look.
In any case, looking forward to playing it
