This overlapping text while writing on iPhone has been driving me mad!

At first I thought I noticed it only on Reddit, because yanno, their editor sucks. Then I noticed it on @obsidian@mas.to and @ia@mastodon.online and realized this has to be iOS.

It’s been a couple weeks of it happening. Glad they’ve put out an update to solve this ONE SPECIFIC BUG.

Dark mode may be a design feature people like aesthetically but it’s first and foremost an inclusive feature.

Playbook is the latest TestFlight app I’ve tried that locks this feature behind a paywall. Disgusting.

It helps reduce eye strain. It helps people with issues viewing contrast.

It helps people prone to migraines be able to use their screens when the symptoms aren’t as severe as light sensitivity is an issue.

Locking Dark Mode behind a paywall is ableist. #accessibility

@ellane@pkm.social - Apple Customer Support denied it?? That’s shocking. I had a similar issue for a $80 app and it was refunded relatively quick. Other than the 1 hour I was on the phone. Not sure if being in the US is different.
