Good to have things clarified.
@tdforg had to spend a lot of energies in battling conflicting interests which led having to stronger rules to avoid those issues in the future
Once the legal consultations are over and the matters are settled, #Collabora's developers will be able to reapply for full membership
#TDF has developers that constantly improve #LibreOffice and will employ more guaranteeing a bright future for LibreOffice and the community

@spaetz I totally agree that the situation is not optimal and that it should have been fixed a long time ago.
Naturally Michael Meeks is free to express his opinions on his own blog and his own company website so at least there he doesn't get told to stop spreading biased statements that aren't helping neither his company nor the community.

@halfa It was explained to the members of the board of trustees as a notification related to these issues and their membership.
These are issues that have been dragging on for years, as explained in the post, and one would have hoped that it wouldn't have been necessary to make a public post about it as it could have been just an understandable minor inconvenience for some. Someone instead decided to make it look like they were being kicked out creating unnecessary drama. @ploum @italovignoli

It is understandable that many are confused as TDF hasn't officially and strongly reacted to many biased public statements over the years to avoid fuelling unnecessary public dramas but it is now clear that it left room to speculations that are not helping anyone:
