I just updated from Mona 6 to Mona 7 and there is one thing that really, really annoys me (beside the wider side bar and the tabs at the top).
I post in multiple languages and adjust the language of each posting accordingly. This was easy up to now by doing just two clicks. But now you moved the language setting to a submenu of a submenu, which is very annoying to change each time.
Please revert that change as soon as possible.

If you just talk about your field of work then that's perfectly fine with me and might even be interesting. But if you mention the product or a company name too often, then it might start to get annoying.
After all, Mastodon is not about selling products. I found the word “social" actually still means something here and I'd like to keep this way.

@oscarfalcon @samsteiner Only seeing three people in the thread saying they don’t mind ads and at the same time wanting to do advertising on Mastodon does not surprise me.
I am strongly against any form of ads. The absence of ads is one of the main reasons for not joining (or leaving) big tech's “social” media. Ads make social media especially anti-social because it's an annoying form of communication in only one direction.
If you allow ads here, then I for one consider to leave.
