So received an email yesterday, I’ve purchased one thing through this organization, and this message makes me wonder either, they lied to me and told me that they’re reaching out to me because I’m one of their most active users, or, they don’t have very many active users…

I am writing to you because you are one of InnoSearch's most active users. Before we make a public announcement next week, Patrick and I wanted to share the future of our platform with you directly. InnoSearch has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. Today, we serve nearly 10,000 blind and low-vision users across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, helping thousands of shoppers complete their orders independently every single day.
However, the reality is that InnoSearch loses money.
As founders, Patrick Long and I (Bryan Vuong) have personally covered these losses because we believe in the mission. We have never taken a profit, nor have we sold your data to make ends meet.
But to ensure InnoSearch survives for the long term, we cannot do it alone. We are transitioning InnoSearch into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

...to upgrade to the $100/month plan and hire it as his virtual assistant.

"AI hasn't taken a job from a person. Either there is no job, or the AI does it."

His reasoning: He knows what he'd charge to be someone's assistant, and it's WAY more than $100/month.
