The End of the Day, by Claire North. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Follows a man that becomes The Harbinger of Death. Sometimes a warning, sometimes a courtesy, he travels the world honouring people (and ideas) and giving them specific gifts. A tough read in places (War, Famine and Pestilence also feature), an exploration of how to approach life and others.

Emotional Rollercoaster: A Journey Through the Science of Feelings, by Claudia Hammond ⭐⭐⭐
(Non-fiction) A broad survey of several emotions and research into them. Published in 2010, I'd recommend something more recent if this is something you're interested in. (It's not bad, it's just some pieces are out of date now). Accessible, and doesn't need to be read linearly.
