I have added some height to the allotment with many arches and climbing structures. This arch at the back of the allotment is planted with two apple trees, one is the variety Sunrise, the other Blenheim Orange. Sunrise is an early apple and has just started flowering. It is a nice entrance to the allotment, eventually the trees will be self-supporting. They do produce a good crop of apples in late summer and autumn.
