I’ve sunk so many hours into Conquest campaigns in Gates of Hell. I’m always a fan of strategy games which showcase artillery, and GoH is among the best in terms of visual and audio design. Of course, it’s a little incongruous when you roll out your big guns, and see they’ve got a range max of 350 meters, but I guess concessions must be made if you’re making a tactical scale RTS.

This is the one flavor of ADHD meme that completely baffles me. On desktop, the second my tabs start getting squished down, I have to pare it back down. On my phone, I’m less diligent, but if I’m approaching double digits, I zero it all out. Feels like it’s a holdover from growing up with crappy computers.

Only if the intro is really minimal and I don’t know anything else about the band (sometimes, if I know they are capable of bangers, I’ll let it slide in the name of atmosphere). Otherwise I try and give a new track until the first chorus before I move on.

Feels like that could be a minor villain from Captain America's Silver Age rogues gallery.

Full disclosure, the last time I studied chemistry was 20 years ago, and I was not a particularly good student, so take this with a heaping helping of NaCl.
It isn’t the direct reaction of Drano + PVC that causes the issue. Rather, it’s the heat given off from the reaction of the clog and the lye. Apparently it’s significant enough to be an issue. I tried looking up how much heat might be released by the reaction, but I went crosseyed reading the formula, so someone else will have to do the math on that one.
Also, I know you said caustic material doesn’t react with metal, but Google doubts you on that front, for whatever that’s worth. In fact, zinc is specifically called out as a metal with which sodium hydroxide reacts pretty strongly, which is important because many water lines are steel galvanized with, you guessed it, zinc.
