The time estimate went from 3 hours to 8 hours to 12 hours, dropped to 1 minute, hung there for another hour, and ... the machine just rebooted and things seem to be working.

Huh. Starting to think maybe Ive just wasn’t all that great a designer and leaned heavily on Jobs and his own subordinates, and because the media love a hero story hyped his ass waaaaaaaaaay too much.
