As far as I know wiki foundation and osm met several times to talk about id mapping
The reason was that OSM ids are non-permanent.
Let's take the small villages as an example.
Not every small village has a sitelink but osm wants a permanent id for it.
But later, in case users want to write an article, they get the osm knowledge and vice-versa cause the osm permanent-id-project adds it to wd. Would these edits the be rejected?

some things are super notable like Power Plugs, they have just some pins, it is always the same concept just some are grounded.
So, there is not a sitelink for every power plug but every power plug is well described with all data in the List Articles

The problem is if a Place is "not notable" we can forget the OSM / wd thing …
Another problem I do have is the use of 1 sitelink for the federated wikidata.

JSON-LD is a normative reference to ActivityPub. The context of AP is only 1 line, maybe 4 if you support the official extensions. It does not make anything much larger.
It is for example important if you want to consume the federated wikipedia, wikidata, European Broadcasting Union or these Public Broadcasters https://www.publicmediaalliance.org/public-broadcasters-create-public-spaces-incubator/ but also to know that e.g. mobilizon uses schema.org for addresses.
I give you an example, if you include
