Finding experts is an eternal challenge as someone with practically zero connections.
I did manage to find a medical doctor through a friend who was willing to answer a bunch of my weird medical questions for book 1, but while her answers were indeed very helpful, she wasn't a specialist in the exact medical subfields my questions were about so she could only help so much with some of them.

#ScribesAndMakers 12 Mar: Our featured creator has an em dash key on his keyboard. Do you do any customizations for your creativity?
I've set up the Pause key (which isn't used for anything else anyway) to be a Compose key, which means I can create all sorts of characters with it. Em dash is Pause and then three regular dashes. Ellipsis is Pause and then two dots. I can usually guess other sequences because they tend to be fairly logical, for example ♥ is Pause, <, 3 and ™ is Pause, t, m.
