I was browsing around and stumbled on this, which completely charmed me. The Chapel Hill Duo formed a touring cello/ violin duo after graduating with 1st Class Honours Performance Degrees from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.

I was just looking for alternatives to Spotify, and I started playing around with Jango Radio. I think I like it. For my first "custom radio station," I started with Sia, and the first song I heard was this one, a favorite. It felt like Sia was speaking right to me. 🙃 😅

I've long been fascinated by this song. Hearing the crack of the whip is 😬 but I admire the way Dolly can tell a story.

(This song is only related to water in a relatively minor way, but I've been listening to another song about a mule, which made me think of this one.)

The Erie Canal Song / Ed Meeker (1913) and Vernon Dalhart (1929)

As a young child, I learned to play this song on the piano. I just listened to half a dozen versions of it; it was interesting to see the variations. Every version I've ever heard has said "fifteen miles" -- but this one, which was supposedly the original recording, says "fifteen years."
