What do you folks use the render third party licenses on the iPhone?
They're plain text and formatted poorly. I haven't found a way to configure the Text() view to show them wrapped well.
I don't mind editing the licenses for formatting (editing for formatting is allowed) but I don't want to wreck them either.
OTOH, if anyone has a good way to display the existing text that's even better. #iosDev #SwiftUI

I just spent about two hours refactoring a view in a way that the Swift compiler could still accept. I still don't know what I wss doing wrong, just making a small change at a time and reverting if I got "unable to type-check this expression in reasonable time."
Extremely frustrating. Better code now, though. #SwiftUI

I've been impressed with Swift's Codable. Anyone see any interesting uses of it? Like extending supported types, supporting CSV (I think I found/tried CSV support at one point and liked it), other formats… #SwiftDevelopment
Edit: It wasn't CSV I tried, but some sort of binary encoder.

I found a chord respelling error in my app. C# was appearing as Db, which is a problem since the user selected C# not Db. (Yes, they're the same, but this is like case preserving a filename.) Looking at the code, I realized the design for that one part was way too deep and I had no idea how to fix it.
I pulled it to a less deep layer and… um… it all just works now. I didn't even notice fixing it. Good layering leads to good results. #softwareDevelopment
