Little Snitch (app aware firewall for MacOS) is great, but has a terrible failure mode.
Every time I do a major OS upgrade, its network extension no longer works and defaults to silently dropping all network traffic until forcibly uninstalled.
This confuses me every time.

A while back I switched from iTerm to #Ghostty but I've missed being able to instantly launch a set of splits pre-setup for a project.

Of course, I get the slop explanation at the top: It suggests that a person is so inept that they would fail to manage a "coup" (takeover or organized action) even in a small, contained, and simple environment like a "pigeon loft".

The idea that appreciation for the natural world is somehow diminished by the reductive nature of science is like saying that learning to play every note in your favourite song will make you enjoy it less.

I believe LLMs today are (mostly) laundered plagiarism and some GenAI companies are fencing reconstituted thefts.
And, every day I ignore ethical problems in order to get what I want, where I believe my ends justify the means. Sometimes knowingly, sometimes not.
We live in a world where we all have to balance these choices all of the time.
I think it's just as absurd to say "AI is ethically sound" as "AI has no valid uses"
