@vwestlife@mastodon.social Howdy - Your recent videos got me back into the video capture rabbit hole and one thing I noticed while experimenting is that under Linux, my cheap no-name capture device offered results far superior than it does under Windows - pulling a decently consistent 60 or so frames per second in OBS while offering high quality video. This was never possible when I used it with Windows PCs. You may want to test this with the other hardware you have that interfaces with a computer, even if it's not worth making a video about.
