As a person on the record (our #podcast) as being afraid of birds (looking at you Sagittarius serpentarius -- for details: https://starrytimepodcast.podbean.com/e/sagittarius-the-archer/) I'm honestly not sure if I think it makes a bird more or less scary to imagine it with a human head a la this siren...

We moved out of Ruston House last October. I need to get round to update the site as it still says we live there. However, my plan is to continue to upload photographs to the site. This one appears as

I'm a # boater , and a # blues and # gospel # musician . I dabble in # webdesign and # wildlife # photography . At least, those are the things I'm most likely to post about. Also play # boardgames in my "spare" time, but don't have much of that. I was born in 1948. Last paid full-time work: 1998. No paid part-time work since 2009. Now live on the edge of a # village on the # coast of # Norfolk , close to the # norfolkbroads . # fedi22

I've finally got around to confessing that we no longer live at Ruston House and updated the home page to say that.

"Today's Image", a feature of the home page of the site, shows a #cormorant, on a bridge over our #lake, a picture I took on 9 October 2013, the first #autumn we lived at the house.
I don't claim to be a great #wildlife #photographer but if you want to browse through photos of all manner of #creatures that we saw while there take a look at the site.
