🔴 Depuis environ six mois, le rover #Curiosity explore une région pleine de formations géologiques appelées "boxwork", des crêtes basses mesurant environ 1 à 2 mètres de haut avec des creux sablonneux entre les deux. Les formations suggèrent que d'anciennes eaux souterraines se sont écoulées sur cette partie de la planète #Mars plus tard que prévu par les scientifiques.
Les formations en forme de boîte ressemblent à toiles d'araignées géantes vu de l'espace.

🔴 Photo inhabituelle sur #Mars : perçage de nuit, juste éclairé par les LEDs au bout du bras robotique, pour le rover #Curiosity.
Cela permet de voir les différentes strates dans le trou.
