Cóż. W sumie nikt chyba się nie spodziewał ochrony prywatności ze strony Mety. Bardziej irytuje fakt, że przeważnie prywatność w internecie jest naszym wyborem. – Nie chcesz używać FB? Okej. Nie używaj. Yesterday was the "Digital Independence Day", which I only learned of, today. Coincidentally yesterday I wrote my first blog post in years! I used to be on wordpress.com for nearly a decade, then moved my blogging to #g+ #facebook, #linkedin and co. With the process of shutting down all my #ustech and #bigtech accounts, I felt the need of having a place to myself again, where I could share my thoughts. For now, I've decided to use #zola as a static site generator, which gets hosted to @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de Here's my successful "Hello, world!" that'll allow me to further my journey towards #digitalindependence as this static site will not only replace my old blogging software, but I plan to replace with it so much more! Read this if you want a reminder why people still hang out on #X / #Twitter , #Facebook , #Instagram and so forth. A lot of people on the #Fediverse assume that the social communities on these platforms could simply reform on the Fediverse. But this isn't going to happen. When a social platform crashes, its social communities are usually gone permanently. I mean, I made the decision to leave Twitter, but I do miss a lot of the awesome people there whom I interacted with. And for others, the loss would be _far_ more acute. So instead of being moralistic about ordinary users on other platforms, we should work harder to build awesome communities here - hopefully ones that are more diverse than what the Fediverse has right now. https://pluralistic.net/2026/02/26/hanged-for-a-sheep/

Ehh, taki odnośnik do poniższego artykułu: sąsiadka/koleżanka zmarła ok. rok temu, <50 lat, a teraz Żonka dostała powiadomienie na FB o jej urodzinach i... sporo życzeń urodzinowych dla niej od "znajomych" z fejsa. Das Kommentarspalten-Bingo war eine von mehreren Möglichkeiten mit den Hass-Kommentaren in den letzten Tagen umzugehen die wir speziell auf #Facebook bekamen. Gerade jetzt vor der #Landtagswahl erleben wir ein drastisches Ansteigen speziell aus dem rechtsextremen Spektrum. Auch das ist #Wahlkampf. #Toleranz für die eigene Position einfordern und die Moderaten zeitgleich digital niederbrüllen. Das soll einschüchtern, mürbe und mundtot machen. Patrząc na średnią wieku ludzi którzy korzystają z Facebooka, to w przeciągu 10-15 lat to będzie interaktywny cmentarz (przynajmniej w zachodniej Europie i US) i chyba Meta tu wyczuła zysk: załóżmy że umiera bliska Ci osoba i dzięki AI możesz "rozmawiać" z nią, bo AI nauczyła się stylu rozmowy a na podstawie aktywności tego co ta osoba lubi.
