Kristi Noem's 28-year-old aide, Madison Sheahan, wasted $2.25 million on unusable ICE vehicles in a non-compete contract with MAGA Trump GOP donor Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports for 25 Chevrolet Tahoes. The 28-year-old Sheahan graduated from Ohio State in 2019 and left ICE in January to run for Congress in #Ohio. She was Noem's political director from February 2021 to January 2024. In 2025, she became deputy director if #ICE. "I absolutely think I’m qualified for the job," Sheahan said last year when questioned about her lack of credentials. A murky, deeply troublesome situation has been unfolding in Chicago overnight. It appears CBP detained an American citizen at O’Hare, took her to an ICE detention facility in Chicago. She hasn’t been heard from since and her family cannot locate her. She may or may not have been transported to a different facility in Wisconsin. Are you kidding? Small local hospital, just the kind thaty will fail under the new cuts to medicaid/care. But it's the one people use. And not the staff's fault, as far aswe couldtell...just UNDER STAFFED. Fractured upper humerus, and it wasn't funny. Seeing ortho (who did her hips and shoulder) Monday if we can get in. Thankful for good sturdy Irish bones. Have I ever stated publicly here that I feel incredibly fortunate to have insurance?

In a classic exhibition of British understatement, the FT (commentating on the Tangerine Tyrant's 'firing' of Kristi Noem - actually he's just moved her to a less high profile post) refers to her handling of the administration's immigration crackdown (rounding up migrants & others, imprisoning them without due process) as 'heavy handed'. The Salsus people began life in the deserts of Exoplanet 74657. They, like all other life, used available resources to build homes. For them it was salt. They mastered the art of manufacturing perfect rectangular blocks. Eventually, one king built the customary-next-step-in-cultural-evolution pyramid. But now, centuries later, the climate has shifted. It rains one day every ten years on the desert, which is slowly, ever so slowly, dissolving the pyramid (but creating beautiful crystals on the outer surface).
