*Awkward wave* from my first ever attempt to make a fox-like character. It's not a fiction-writing one, but I want to try doing different animal-like "people". This one took me ages, mostly because I chose the wrong sketch book, so colours didn't "take" easily. NJ's #drawing of a #koala, which she completed while I read three chapters of "Eragon" to her. We had to look up the shape of the nose, and she wanted the koala clinging to a giant sock of bamboo, so she needed a reference picture to get the joints the right shade. Her drawing is amazing. I might have just managed to draw a cartoon mouse by her age (9). I still find animals difficult. But I live seeing her grow in her abilities like this.

This is my current non-fiction-related #drawing. I'm using a picture from a leaflet from the "Lynx to Scotland" project. It's a tricky thing reintroducing #Lynx. Tricky for the Lynx, local wildlife and local people. But they are beautiful creatures.
