A post I found on another social media site that is worth sharing. An interviewer is shocked when an applicant replies to a question on why they want the job, “to be transparent, it's for the money”. The interview is binned. Someone replies, "That's why we want any job. It's for the money so we can eat food and have a roof over our head. Your company isn't special or some amazing thing. It's a fucking job. Get over yourself." #HR #TellTheTruth #GetOverYourself

The retainer I signed three weeks ago for copywriting work with a major pediatric research organization on the East Coast of the US was just cancelled out of the blue. No explanation, no warning... Not sure I have any legal recourse, given they breached the contract for reasons they are unwilling to explain. Any #HR or #employmentlaw folks out there want to reach out and help me figure out what to do next?
