#ScribesAndMakers 4/16. How do you feel about illustrations in (non-comic) books? On the one hand, I really like the idea and that was one reason I started doing monochrome erotic illustrations. On the other hand, I don't like forcing my own image of the characters on my readers. On the other other hand, Bookfunnel are now allowing additional item downloads with any books they're delivering so you can give people extra stuff - including pictures. And on the final hand, I can't do it for most of my fantasy books because there is no 3D model of a feathered wyvern, which is beyond frustrating. #eroticMusings Week 40 (March 1-7) Studio: Where/how do you promote your erotica? Is it effective? How do you evaluate that? It's pretty hard (ahem). Mostly I promote in Bookfunnel promotions, although my erotica stories really aren't a good fit for most of them because my work is not kink-based. I measure it by any sales I get. I would add the series to my other regular promotions but I don't want to annoy folks with too many. And it needs to be better targeted.
