The Ministry of National Defense of Afghanistan states that last night, ISIS forces carried out deadly attacks on Pakistani military personnel in Nangarhar, Khost, and Paktia provinces, killing 32 soldiers and wounding dozens more. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, this contradictory operation, called "Operation Retribution," was carried out last night by the 203 Nasir, 201 Khalid bin Walid, and 205 Badri Corps in the Nangarhar, Paktia, and Khost provinces, using ISIS forces. The ministry says that during Operation Retribution, a tower opened fire and detonated mines, killing 32 soldiers and wounding dozens more.
