Last week I assumed (wrongly) that there was no way British tax dodgers in #Dubai would leave their beloved pets behind…that it would be the like the last flight out of Kabul.
But the type of people who see income tax as ‘unfair’ when all they want to do is make a living ‘influencing’ others are quite happy to get on taxpayer funded emergency flights with no plans in place for their kitties.

Just got sent a message proudly announcing there are 43 different languages spoken by students at my kid’s school and to let the school office know if there are any that have been missed off…diversity is this school’s strength, not a weakness.

As a woman working in #retrofit , I am delighted that the #Greens chose Hannah Spencer, a local plumber to be their candidate in the #gortonanddenton byelection.
She gets it in a way other politicians just don’t.

Glad to see #Farage was called out on his schoolboy antisemitism and his attempt to divide and conquer existing immigrants at this launch of a #ReformUK Jewish Group.
I can’t help but think this group also has the whiff of Boris’s cardboard bus building antics about it. Every time you search for Farage, you get a whole host of articles documenting exactly how he bullied younger Jewish children at school. So, by creating this new group he’s hoping to bury his recent past.

I try very hard not to be ageist…but in the case of oat milk, I think this is Supreme Court decision made by boomers for the benefit of boomer owned dairy farms.
How many people under the age of 70 have ever accidentally bought oat milk when they didn’t intend to ?
I can’t see a barista in a coffee house asking if you want ‘a plant based drink’ added to your coffee…can you?!
