@MichaelWhelan@mastodon.art I'm very cross. I bought _I Travel By Night_ based on your lovely cover art. But the second book published in 2016 ended on a very clear note that the story is not over, with no sign of anything further.

I am unfulfilled and I blame your wonderful art, sir!

@crazyeddie@mastodon.social @danirabbit@mastodon.online This. So many of us benefit from it, and think it's normal. We and don't see our own privilege. I know I didn't. "I'm not privileged; I WORK for living and I got hassled by the cops once." We don't see that being able to work, that being hassled by cops but not worrying we might just be randomly killed by the assholes who are supposed to be looking out for us, IS the privilege. I've wondered at times if a better name for 'privilege' might help others' see it.
