Sadly, I think she was on the brink of realizing this after her conversation with Starbuck and her decision not to assassinate Adama. However the series of events that led to her death had already been triggered.
I do wonder if she had not died at the end of this episode, would she have continued to climb out of the abyss?
Unforgettable performance by Michelle Forbes BTW. A lesser actor would have made Cain a one dimensional character.

A more likely possibility is that a lot of free tickets went out, and to a very targeted group of people.
The AP Noted today that "Audiences were overwhelmingly 55 and older (72% of ticket buyers), female (72%) and white (75%). As expected, the movie played best in the South, with top states including Florida and Texas."

BTW - This March will mark 10 years in for me in executive technology roles in the NGO space. I often get asked "why" as the challenges are great, the barriers to getting 💩done is high, the pay is low(ish), and in a lot of organizations, the culture sucks, and fights you every step of the way.
(That is all true, BTW...)
The answer is that there ARE opportunities to be in orgs and in situations where, as a CIO, I can "Move The Needle".

FWIW, while my greatest concerns are for the Public that is having to deal with these frustrations, I have some real sympathy for the Agencies (and even some for Cubic). that are going through this.
Slapping layer upon layer of "new" technology over old, proprietary FinTech systems was always going to carry with it a high degree of fragility, and that is playing out during this upgrade.
It has been why I and MST have been (almost militantly) against taking that approach.

The worst part about being bald this time of year is that my head gets cold fast unless I wear a hat, and when my head gets cold my extremities cramp up because the blood supply kicks up to the noggin
