And now: @HowTheyVoteEU@eupolicy.social present their project (Prototype Fund Round 9) at #fosdem, specifically talking about how they make roll-call votes in the european parliament more accessible: As free and open data, available one hour after each vote.

Continuing in the "Local first" room,
@blinry@chaos.social & @zormit@chaos.social give us an introduction into @teamtype@fosstodon.org, including a live demo!

Also, they argue why a collaborative text editing protocol could allow people to use any editor with any collaborative editing software (e.g. Hedgedoc or @p2panda@autonomous.zone of the talk before) - wich would benefit everyone in the end.

Setting the stage: "2025 was the year everybody, even those who do not attend @fosdem@fosstodon.org, realized they are dependent on us tech. We have to organize strategically to change that!"
