@Nina_cried @skaphle @Lana but money is worthless. We just decided it has a value. If we collectively decided that it has not and used turnips or buttons instead, what could stop us? The rich? They wouldn't be rich anymore.

@Amorpheus @mxchara @ariaflame @geekysteven no prejudice on my part. Just awareness of what society pushes people to do when they feel they have to conform to social norm. And men are as much the victims of the system as women. It's just that, as the system makes it look like they are the winners, they tend to rebel a bit less than the obvious losers.

@mxchara @ariaflame @geekysteven I think it's more of a "leaders" are moved to tyranny and believers forced into piety and whatever the leaders tell them to do.
The more I think about it the more I see religion as a system people use to avoid to have to think too hard about life. And of course, some people will exploit that. Just like in the manosphere, if you look at it like that.
But that's my personal opinion, noone has to adhere.

Or just remember 1947 and what they did to the Muslims (it was reciprocal, however).
Don't know about Buddhists but pretty sure I will not have to look that far to find something nasty.
