@_Davidsmith@mastodon.social are you still having control center issues on Beta 6? I can’t get my control center widget to appear on the Lock Screen at all and I can’t get custom icons to work on the control center screen. All that works are SFSymbols.

@MuseumShuffle@mastodon.social @conradstoll@atx.pub Ive definitely been using it a lot laying down this weekend and I’d agree. It’s quite good. There’s a few small issues laying down but they aren’t deal breakers by any means. I think that’ll be the primary way I use it for a while.

@brentsimmons@indieweb.social I think you’re right to be skeptical of iPad apps running by default, because many I’ve tried aren’t great. But to be honest, I think it’s pretty easy to make an iPad app work great with Vision Pro. All it really needs are highlighted/selected states for every control, and reasonably sized touch targets. The better those states are the nicer it feels. The eye tracking is good, but you really need the visual feedback when looking at something.

I loved the Vision Pro as during the College Football Championship even before I knew what product it was for. Amazing.

@TFDuesing@mas.to yes! It’s related to the new Shared with You feature from iOS 16. If you pin something in messages it can show up in a shared with you section in apps that implement that feature!

@marcoarment@mastodon.social I’m pretty satisfied with the Ubiquiti cameras. I’ve got 5 of them, and I’m using the old Cloud Key gen 2 for storage. I upgraded the internal drive to a 2TB SSD and that ends up being around two weeks worth of retention with all 5 cameras continuously recording.

I always come to #WWDC looking for motivation, even if I don’t always need it. This year, I did need it, and it totally delivered!
