In a WWDC accessibility lab I was (rightly) dinged for removing some UI elements if I detected large text.

I wrote "Accessibility users shouldn’t be left out of seeing a stylized interface." in a blog post about it.

It's a shame that larger text means you don't get to see the moon in Apple Weather

The deprecated Rijksmuseum API that Museum Shuffle used is very different from its replacement.

I’m 100% certain that it would have taken me weeks to adapt to it in my little free time I’d devote to it.

I did it in a few hours with Claude Code. 🤯

My mom continues to be my best beta tester. Got a call from her saying that Museum Shuffle was broken.

Turns out the Rijksmuseum API that I use was deprecated and uses a completely different API now.

I had no idea!
