The Secret Agent (2025) is set in Brazil, mid-70s and is very dedicated to putting us in that place and time. What's striking is the color palette. It is warm, the base color is tan to tangerine with splashes of bold primary and secondary colors. I don't recall ever seeing a film that looks like this. Look at that splash of green behind the man's head. The boy's yellow shirt. The man's red shirt and blue pants. The whole movie is painted in this scheme. Just striking. #movies
