make me nuts. I’ve seen no issues like this with the Abbot Freestyle Libre sensors over the past two years. They also “eat shit” more often than one would expect from a US$200 million company – at least every three to four months one either won’t activate or quits before the normal expected lifetime of two-ish weeks.

my wife’s aging iPad Pro because it’s EOLed on iPadOS 16.7.12 and is basically useless for some apps and, yes, unusable performance-wise.

Makes me wonder if public libraries, well known to have news periodicals, have access to such paywalled sites.
From the library perspective, shift funding from physical periodicals (as they slowly disappear) to digital offerings. From the publisher perspective, however, I suppose it’s, “Fuck you. Pay me.” for every individual user.
