Fluux Messenger v0.13.2 has been released:

Many bugfixes around the internal proxy system to map websocket to standard XMPP ports for server that do not support websocket.

Desktop client with support for TCP 5222 and 5223 port !!

The new release of Fluux Messenger is not limited to server with XMPP over Websockets, you should now be able to use it on a much larger set of XMPP services.

We just released Fluux Agent 0.2.0, an agent runtime built on XMPP.

Think of it as an operating system for human-machine collaboration: a set of skills, some handled by AI, most powered by humans, all communicating through a proven, secure messaging protocol like XMPP.

It's early days, but paired with Fluux Messenger, our modern XMPP client, this is the foundation for something we've been dreaming about for a long time.

Our first release of 2026 tackles two operational pain points:

- Database Serialization to migrate your data between database and servers more easily.

- Invite-based Registration (mod_invites): Now you can generate invitation links for controlled account creation, plus roster invites that let users connect without friction. (Thanks @nlnet@social.nlnet.nl and @zeank@mastodon.social)
