Maintaining US prohibition on all drugs except the original gateway drug, alcohol, has been an effective tool in the incarceration and disenfranchisement of Black and Brown people. It has also kept Mexico, and economic powerhouse and potential competitor, struggling with violence from US-armed cartels, and starved for tax resources from the largest part of their GDP. Legalization is the solution.

Last summer, my #weight hit 298 pounds. I love food. I love lots of food that is fattening. I was going through two loaves of bread a week along with pasta. My #size never bothered me. I don't care about looks. What did was my inability to do certain things, the decline in my #fitness. So I started at a gym to gain strength and cardio fitness. Then I had a #health scare. I have since lost 50 lbs and plan to lose 30 more because I want to live and enjoy that life.

@cstross@wandering.shop That's interesting to hear. I found out after reading three books by a favorite indie author that he used a version of dictation software. I'm not sure which, or how much editing he had to do, but I thoroughly enjoyed his books.

If you are self-righteous and making excuses for not voting for Kamala, fuck right off and unfollow me.
We would not have attacked Iran or Venezuela. There would be no murders of US citizens by ICE and CBP, no kidnappings, no extra-judicial murders in international waters, no millions of dead children in Africa because USAID was destroyed.
We would still have science-based health policy and clean air rules.
Trump would be in jail.
