Dr. Myrah Brown Green (1956-) got a C on her first quilt in art school (she left out the batting!) and didn’t take the craft back up for nearly 20 years. Now the world renowned artist and art historian is known for a quilting style that incorporates symbols from cultures around the globe, often with a focus on motherhood
