@saramg@fosstodon.org Would need to search for the link (if it still exists), but I read some years ago a very well written (and researched) blog post about this phenomena. Turns out that a) southern Europe just serves better coffee and b) the gene which makes people adverse to coffee loses its strength of influence with age. So yes, this tracks.
