Looks like the qualifying template for the early part of the season is going to be:
Q1: both Williams, both Astons, both Cadillacs out
Q2: 6 out of 8 of (Alpine, Audi, Racing Bulls, Haas) out
Q3: Both Mercedes, both Ferraris, both McLarens, then a jumble of Red Bulls and the lucky qualifiers

Guess we’ll see what upgrade season has in store.

Watching the qualifying replay. They popped up a graphic showing Leclerc was over half a second faster in low-speed corners than Russell. Which is a shock, because for several years Ferrari management was adamant that CAR GO FAST, even when being the fastest on the straights hamstrung them in races. So maybe something there has changed for the better.

Immigration police here in Mexico have started running checkpoints to verify people's paperwork. But as they say, when you're used to superiority, equality feels like oppression.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the defense of this murder is “fuck you, what are you going to do about it?” That’s their response to any criticism, no matter the scale. There’s never an apology, never a space for reasonable minds to disagree. When it all falls apart for them and their apparatus is being dismantled, and they come back demanding to have a conversation, appealing to your sense of fair play, don’t believe them for a second.
