@noodlemaz@med-mastodon.com @ChrisW1@mstdn.social I *almost* replied with that, but I hesitated because ever since it was in the news (and was quite a cause celeb among the educators I know), I’ve meant to dig more into the actual research. It wasn’t clear to me whether the finding is that everybody learns equally well across different modes or environments (unlikely—that feels akin to, say, denying that ADHD exists), or that the particular model of Learning Styles that was in vogue for the last thirty years was wrong.

Me, in high school in the 1990s: hoping every class period would be just watching a video so I didn't have to learn anything.

Me, online in the 2020s: hoping none of these links will lead to watching a video because I want to learn something.
