It also hits two of my research areas, platform migration and user agency/resistance - I'm both impressed by and academically interested in how trans women, especially, are finding new ways to adapt around the encroaching horribleness. Plus, Twitter is still how queer and trans students keep finding me.

I’ll admit: the primary reason I don’t spend much time on here is that transfem Twitter is still going strong and producing instant classics.

I'm currently on the job market, looking for tenure-track academic positions and highly mission-relevant positions outside of academia. My latest papers are a good sample of the kind of work I do:
