I find this infinitely more offending than just using the images with credit, even without asking for explicit permissions.

I am rather surprised to see double dashes being used in place of em dashes, especially with extra space surrounding them. That's a rare writing opinion I've only seen myself do (the em dash just isn't feasibly writable on most computers, and I simply believe adding space around the em dashes is more readable and aesthetically pleasing). We must protect the kids from the one sorta-tolerable thing they found by restricting it and their access to it -- as if kids haven't been experts at stealing mommy's credit card to do things they shouldn't since the invention of stores of value and currencies. A valiant use of the world's resources. An immaculate ability to observe, identify and prioritize the real issues which truly mess people up.

There is a mental affliction which I am noticing is becoming more and more prevalent which I can only describe as a “You have infinite resources, right?” mentality.
