According to HRW, the munitions were deployed over a residential area outside an Israeli-designated evacuation zone. “The Israeli military’s unlawful use of white phosphorus over residential areas is extremely alarming and will have dire consequences for civilians,” Ramzi Kaiss of Human Rights Watch said. “The incendiary effects of white phosphorous can cause death or cruel injuries that result in lifelong suffering,” he added.

The US didn't simply take credit for this, they BRAGGED about doing it. In International waters.

'U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth described the IRIS Dena as a "prize ship." U.S. President Donald Trump has said one of the key objectives of the war is to wipe out Iran's navy.'

This is the commentary by Ryan Grim:

An Iranian warship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president.

The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo.

Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water.

I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit.

'This week, Prime Minister Mark Carney was widely criticized for supporting Trump and Netanyahu's deadly attacks on Iran, which clearly violate the UN Charter's prohibition on the use of force. Since then, Carney and Foreign Minister Anand have struggled to explain their position and whether this contradicts international law. When Carney finally took questions at a press conference on Tuesday, he admitted that "it appears that these actions [the US-Israeli attacks] are inconsistent with international law," and called the war a "failure of the international order." He even said that Canada had supported it with "regret." However, he reaffirmed that it doesn't matter either way, because Canada continues to support the war regardless.'' This is an outrageous position for the Canadian government to take, and it is the furthest thing from a principled foreign policy. It is not acceptable for Canada to identify that a violation of international law is taking place and still choose to support it. Making things even worse, Carney has refused to "categorically rule out" the possibility of Canada's eventual military participation. Carney's incoherent position on Iran is clearly at odds with both international law and public opinion. There is no justification for defending this deadly war of aggression which has undermined peace and security throughout the entire region. Canadians do not want to join this illegal war of aggression, and we refuse to allow Carney to leave that door open. We need to continue to pressure this government to withdraw its support for these illegal attacks. In solidarity, Michael Bueckert, Vice President, CJPME' #cdnpoli #abpoli #iran #War

Consider how the world would react if ANYBODY were to bomb America and murder Americans and American children, with the excuse that "Trump is evil and Republicans must be overthrown".

While we all agree with that, nobody would ever consider that would justify the bombing of a (white) nation.

So why is it so easy for some to completely suspend any rational sense of humanity to justify bombing Iran's capital, killing over 100 out of only 170 people from one single girls school out of countless other targets, with the exact same justification? The answer is chillingly simple: Islamophobia.

Hate and division allows us to see other people as "not people". Prime Minister Carney's statement on this matter reeks of racism.

If this had anything to do with expelling "evil leaders" then the same justification could be used to bomb the US. The same justification could be used to bomb Israel. But it only applies when the people of the nation are "not like us".

Before I have to read another "hot take", let me make something clear: Nobody thinks Iran is harmless. We just aren't stupid enough to believe that ISRAEL and the USA are harmeless and get to decide who they want to overthrow with their "harmlessness".

For those who don't know where to start looking in the Epstein file, the document EFTA01660679.pdf is a good start. Below is only a tiny portion of a long document full of Trump and company (incl. Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, the entire Trump family, etc.). It includes reports from many 13-14 year old victims (at the time; the email describes 20 year old events on file from an FBI Special Agent, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force), including testimony from limo drivers and other workers who overheard conversations.

If you have ANY doubt whatsoever about the enormity of Trump's implications in the Epstein files, this document alone will open your eyes.

The following is an excerpt from page #EFTA01660681:

"Donald Trump, the president, had parties at Maralago called 'calendar girls' Jeffrey Epstein would bring the children in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children's vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness. The guests were elder men and included Elon Musk. Don jr. Trump. Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump were there. Attorney Allan Dershowitz was also there with Attorney Bob Shapiro. We were taken in rooms. forced to give oral sex to Donald J Trump. Forced to allow them to penetrate us. I was 13 years old when Donald J Trump raped me. Ghislaine Maxwell was also present."

Actually, it doesn't matter if they "just lay there" or not. Either way they are considered resisting because the act of resisting law enforcement is not determined by the actions of the victim, but rather the actions of the LEO. If rhe LEO used brutality and violence without reason, then the victim is considered o be "resisting" even if they never move a muscle from a prone poaition. In just one example of many (because once you become a target then until you move out of the district then every encounter is preceded with, "I read your file". In recent news, Alex Pretti's last encounter was his second), I had a more veteran cop use me as a dummy to teach a more rookie cop, by squeezing me as hard as possible on the back of the neck completely randomly out of the blue so she could show him, "See how the muscle tenses up in his neck when I do this? That's called resisting." Muscle tensing is an involuntary bodily response to pain. It is impossible for the recieving party to control. And they make absolutely sure you FEEL the pain. The more pain they inflict, the more guty you are. People need to wake up and realise that the charge of "resisiting arrest" means only that unnecesary violence was used against a civilian, and has nothing to do with "resisting" or "arrest". In order to be charged with it, not only do you not need to "move" or "resist" in any way, but you don't need to be under arrest, being arrested, be charged with any arrestable crime, or even be considered for arrest. When there is no arrest being made, you are charged with "resisitng arrest" based solely on the fact that violence was used against you and the perpetrators cannot justify that violence in any other way. I don't know how it works in the US, but in Canada a charge of resisting arrest cannot be challenged in court. If an LEO says it, then it's an automatic guilt based on their word alone with no proof or argument. This is why when cops here beat you up they scream "stop resisting!" at the top of their lungs with every single punch they throw on your prone, still body... just in case somebody can hear; to drown out your screams of pain, your pleas for help, and the unmistakable sound of human flesh being pounded mercilessly to a pulp. Also, I have to add a positive note. A LOT has changed since George Floyd. I was in his exact position choking out the exact same words, "I can't breathe", to receive the exact same response, "I don't care", many years before his murder. I was lucky to survive, but when I heard his story it hit me hard knowing that would have been me a few seonds longer. Thanks to him, I no longer live in the same fear and terror every day of my life, because of Black Lives Matter and the change and awareness they brought. All my experiences were pre-BLM, and pre-George Floyd. All of them were brought on by police discrimination, both classism and racism. I still have trauma, but my life in the present has changed since and it had nothing to do with me. We are going through all of this again, and it is vital that people reaist and apeak out against this tyranny and these brutal murders. We CAN change the world, but it takes some serious effort on everybody's part, not just the victims. BLM, forever and always. #blm #acab

The 60 Minutes "Inside CECOT" segment pulled by Donald Trump has been bootlegged! :o

Note the screencap with Kristi Noem. No wonder Trump didn't want it aired...

@virtuous_sloth@cosocial.ca Yeah, a Youtube live stream would probably be more appropriate for that reason. Ideally both! #abpoli #union #Solidarity
