Most of the #Toronto Police Officers who were arrested on allegations of corruption were from 11 & 12 division, with a comprehensive investigation underway likely to find more.
The #DougFord family is known to have tight connections with the #TorontoPoliceService, trying to appoint his pal Supt. Ron Taverner, of 22 & 23 division fame, just across the Humber river from 11 & 12 divisions, to lead the #OPP, but backtracked in light of the obvious conflict of interest.
Also, we've learned there is a connection between the Internation Drug Kingpin #RyanWedding and the #TPSCorruption scandal.
Meanwhile, the #RCMP is into year 3 in their investigation of the #FordAdministration for corrupt dealings related to the #GreenbeltScandal and related corrupt dealings.
There's also the question of how #RobFord got in with the crowd who sold him the crack cocaine in the first place and Doug's alleged sales connections.
All very suspicious... 🤔

'This week, Prime Minister Mark Carney was widely criticized for supporting Trump and Netanyahu's deadly attacks on Iran, which clearly violate the UN Charter's prohibition on the use of force. Since then, Carney and Foreign Minister Anand have struggled to explain their position and whether this contradicts international law.
When Carney finally took questions at a press conference on Tuesday, he admitted that "it appears that these actions [the US-Israeli attacks] are inconsistent with international law," and called the war a "failure of the international order." He even said that Canada had supported it with "regret." However, he reaffirmed that it doesn't matter either way, because Canada continues to support the war regardless.''
This is an outrageous position for the Canadian government to take, and it is the furthest thing from a principled foreign policy. It is not acceptable for Canada to identify that a violation of international law is taking place and still choose to support it.
Making things even worse, Carney has refused to "categorically rule out" the possibility of Canada's eventual military participation.
Carney's incoherent position on Iran is clearly at odds with both international law and public opinion. There is no justification for defending this deadly war of aggression which has undermined peace and security throughout the entire region.
Canadians do not want to join this illegal war of aggression, and we refuse to allow Carney to leave that door open. We need to continue to pressure this government to withdraw its support for these illegal attacks.

Last week, we held a critical conversation on Canada’s complicity in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Despite the supposed ‘ceasefire,’ Gaza is still being starved, bombed, and invaded by Israel in real time with the support of Canadian-made weaponry.
But our hearts are not only breaking for those in Palestine.
In Iran, parents of 165 school children have just buried their young, after what's been the most deadly event of the US-Israeli-led attack on the country so far. Shamefully, Canada has backed Trump and Netanyahu's war.
From Gaza, to Minab, to Minneapolis, the kidnapping and killing of children in classrooms around the world marks the failure of humanity. Weapons and war are not the answer. Canada must be a force for peace, diplomacy and de-escalation.

Repeat after me: Fascism is bad. You SHOULD be against fascism.
Why is this Conservative MP, Garnett Genuis, against people who are against fascism? Makes you want to start asking questions about his political loyalties; people that are opposed to the idea of anti-fascism are anti-Canada, and an affront to the many in the armed forces who gave their lives to defeat fascism.
His beliefs, and those who share them, are incompatible with democracy and Canadian values. I urge the people in his riding to let him know that his anti-Canadian values are incompatible. They should vote him out, too.

Trump's plan envisages Gaza as a colonial investment cente - mirroring "longstanding Israeli schemes for the gradual ethnic cleansing of Gaza."
There's no room in the plan for Palestinian rights, & most Palestinian factions describe it as "a colonial instrument reminiscent of the British Mandate."
