Recently I've perfected my quickish (15min) vegan breakfast bowl:

* Rice (we almost always have some leftover)
* Crumbled tofu
* Seaweed shreds
* Avocado
* Chili paste
* Soy sauce

That's it, no cooking (unless you want to warm it up). Very filling, very flavorful.

This is a cold-hot take but my partner and I have been trying to play through Baldur's Gate 3 as a coop campaign and we both just kind of wish it was Divinity Original Sin 2. Personally not a big fan of the DnD mechanics, and both of us feel that DOS2 integrated 2 players substantially better. Wonder if anyone feels the same/differently.

Something I struggle with is finding a good source of on-the-ground news that isn't reddit/social media. Like for the murder of Alex Pretti, NYT and AP were very slow to give the real story, well after video was readily available.

At the same time, using reddit to get that up-to-date info also gave my brain an excuse to just mindlessly browse reddit.

Curious how other people balance this.

I know there's many, many serious and complex reasons to hate American prisons but the idea of charging imprisoned people for and then taking away a free open source strategy game for no discernible reason is uniquely vexing. One thing that I feel like is at risk of being lost in discussion of the murder of Renee Nicole Brown is that citizens of a democracy, a real functional democracy, have a right to be angry and loud and belligerent at authority figures on the street. Free peoples in a free society do not have to behave a certain way to maintain their rights.

Got my glasses prescription updated and debating options. I work in a place with fluorescent light most of the day. I'm fairly photosensitive and have frequent headaches and occasional migraines.

I've had two pairs of transitions, convenient but neither as good as sunglasses of course.

So options I'm looking at are new transitions (maybe Xtractive?). FL-41s, or the classic 1 regular and 1 sunglasses pair. Thoughts/experiences appreciated.

My personal conspiracy theory is that nobody actually uses the feature in google maps to report things like speed traps and lane closures, they're just collecting enough data to predict those things and the buttons are there for plausible deniability.
