Last time I printed to my LaserWriter II printer, it made a horrible noise: lots of repeated clacking.

Tonight I figured out why. A gear broke on the fuser assembly which caused the paper delivery to fail and the page got stuck inside. I swapped it with a gear from an old fuser assembly and we're back in business!

I really like the print quality of this printer. With the IIg card, it does an amazing job. Just a tad on the slow side. 🐢

Contemplating the difficulty level of cloning the A-Max-II card (Macintosh Emulator) for the Amiga.

I see 6 GALs on the card which may present a challenge. Have those been dumped?

Installed Basillisk II (using an SDL version and not X11) on a Pi displaying on a fixed resolution (1536x2048) HDMI LCD. The LCD also has a fixed rotation (90 degrees CCW) so I have to put in a rotate=270 in the cmdline.txt file. This works fine for the CLI.

However, starting Basillisk II, the screen rotates back 270 CCW. Is there a rotate setting in Basillisk (I can't find one) or some other setting to get it to display the right way up?

Graphically visualizing the erasure of a 16kbit #EPROM with a UV source in 16 seconds!

This time lapse shows all of the bits being flipped from 0 to 1 over about a 24 minute period. The first bit flips at 8 minutes.

What's fascinating to me is the bits "twinkle" as they flip back and forth before settling.
