Google har lanceret en generativ AI app Lyria (https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/lyria-3/) så man kan skabe (uoriginalt) musik med. Googles kommunikationsmand i DK siger, at de har fået tilladelse til at træne på alle musikeres indhold på Youtube. Jeg har spurgt ham (på LinkedIn) om de specifikt har spurgt om tilladelse eller om det er en del om deres betingelser for at bruge YouTube. Ved I noget om det eller kan henvise til en som kan?

Companies are trying to influence what the chatbots say by providing specific information — lots of it — for the chatbots to soak up.
But it is challenging; many serious media sites block for their factchecked content, the chatbots hallucinates-by-default, answers on the same question differs, and they also suck up old content that might be wrong. The new ugly term is GEO (generative engine optimization).

The Spanish Prime Minister and his family has been harrassed for years on social media, so he is now a frontrunner in the fight against them. Yes, I doubt if the politicians are doing the right thing in banning access to them for kids. We all need to move away from these platforms in stead. To a platform like Mastodon…… I guess you agree but would love to hear what you think politicians should do?

AI overview is killing that part of media and others who believed in traffic from Google was a good idea in stead of building a direct relation to its audience. AI overview is killing 58% of traffic!
It is typical Big Tech - first fix is free. remember that before you incorporate and get dependent on US generative AI services (use European and open weight)

Good read. Big AI tech is selling AI personalisation as something very useful and poweful, it might help you, it certainly helps the companies, as they suck up all your data and memory leaving you without any control or insight.
Alternatives in Europe have not (yet) followed suit so they are more safe to use.
