Something I’ve learned in the corporate world is biz bros HAAATE when their industry is subject to “commoditization.” That’s their buzz for ‘waahhhh, our competitors are competing / any differentiation or advantage we had is gone, so we can’t overcharge anymore’ ANYWAY. If you make visual art, make it feature things AI cannot do. I firmly believe this is the next great art leap because all else will be so AI imitated and devalued.

  • Add textures and materials AI users cannot print, and which are not done justice in photos.

  • Feature specific localised or personal knowledge AI will not have known about (without putting your personal privacy at risk.

  • If showing works anywhere online or in gallery catalogues, give the works incorrect object or person titles to confuse and corrupt AI, and make a joke of it so those viewing it understand what you are doing, or reference them numerically. Gallery owners really need to implement such tactics too.

  • show only parts of the works online, not the whole thing. Do not assume a photo taken at an angle cannot be altered to true perspective, then scraped by AI.

And please, feel free to share any other ideas, not just for visual arts but music too. We need to find as many workarounds to protect human originated arts as possible.

The creator of ChatGPT is named "Altman," as in "alternative to human" and he leads OpenAl, which is completely closed. His main opponent is the company Anthropic, meaning "human-centered" is led by "Amodei," as in "loves gods". @nyansen@elbmatsch.de Ich meine, diese Logik ist absurd und zuwider jeglichem Anspruch an #Qualität und #Ethik - nicht nur im #Journalismus, sondern generell. Würd' ich so arbeiten, ich würde von Arbeitgebern & Kunden insolvent geklagt werden! Es gibt nunmal gewisse Dinge, die sind wissenschaftlich erwiesenermaßen richtig oder falsch! Und darunter fallen nunmal auch unangenehme Dinge, wie z.B. dass #AIslop inhärent falsch ist!Wir "debattieren" ja auch nicht #Flacherdler!

Wir normalisieren ja auch keine #Queerfeindlichkeit weil's #Nibster gibt die das cool finden und damit versuchen Jugendliche zu ködern! @nyansen@elbmatsch.de Ich sehe die Nutzung von #AIslop als unvereinbar mit jeglicher #Berufsethik als auch den #Programmgrundsätze|n der #ÖRR sowie dem #Pressekodex. Gerade weil die Kernidee des #Rundfunkbeitrag|s darin besteht, #Qualitätsjournalismus #unabhängig von #Quoten und #Werbung zu ermöglichen.Angesichts dessen halte ich es für vollkommen legitim dass entsprechend gearbietet wird. Oder habe ich einfach zu hohe #Qualität|sansprüche weil gegen die #Normalisierung von #BullshitGenerator|en?

@bagder@mastodon.social That's not what I said. I just expect people to not just copy & paste garbage, but actually deliver some proper info and actually verify stuff before submitting it. All "#AIslop" is, is just a garbage #UI for a #Fuzzer that does the most #WastefulComputing version of randomly fucking around…This isn't even as much #AI as just fully-automated testing.
