@amyfou@lingo.lol So they are paying themselves a commission out of funds they’re purchasing the house with? That alone signals a scam to me. If I understand correctly, they wouldn’t even be paying what they’re offering because they would be reducing the total for their commission.

Also be careful if they are going to occupy the property during this time. I’ve heard stories of people getting tied up in court once they hand over the keys and being unable to get their property back.

@Michigander@toad.social I keep thinking about that every time I see someone posting about the redecorating of the White House. Didn’t Doge or some other admin people show up announced shortly after whatshisface took office? Surprised there’s been no more mention of that considering all the gold they’ve been plastering the White House with. What if it isn’t fake?!

I subscribe to Apple News. A trend I have noticed when I read an article is that, more times than not, the article is mostly made up of social media posts made by random people. It will read something like “and here’s what @ doglover867 said about the modernization of infrastructure to encourage less reliance on fossil fuels”. When did scrolling feeds morph into journalism? I can do that myself without paying a subscription fee.
