I have mild face blindness and since I first read Steve Mann's write-ups on his Wearcams I have wanted to be able to put people's pictures and names into smart glasses and have them help me recognize people I actually know.
I deeply hate how Meta and other companies that have been marketing related products have poisoned the well and nobody will dare produce this feature now.
